01Our promise, first
Most of what we save is simply what makes the site work for you: that you are signed in, what is in your cart, which language and currency you chose, and — if you picked one — the hotel we rank nearby experiences around. Those are set because without them there is no booking, so they are not something we can offer you a choice about.
Beyond that there is exactly one thing, and it is yours to decide: analytics, so we can see which pages help people and which get in the way.
We never sell your data, and we set no advertising cookies.
02No advertising trackers
This site sets no advertising cookies and no cross-site trackers. Nothing here builds a profile of you to sell, and nothing follows you to other sites.
If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics: it sets its own cookies (listed below) and sends usage data — pages viewed, roughly where from, which device — to Google. If you do not accept it, it is never loaded, and your browser never contacts Google at all.
03What we remember, and why
A cookie is a small note the site keeps on your device so it can remember something between pages. Ours remember exactly the things you would expect a good travel site to remember:
- Your session — so you stay signed in and your cart survives from page to page.
- Your language and currency — so pages greet you the same way every time.
- Your chosen hotel — so we can show experiences near where you are actually staying.
- Your cookie choice itself — so the banner asks once rather than on every page.
- Analytics, only if you agreed — how the site is used, never who you are.
The table below lists each one, in plain words. There is nothing between the lines — the table is the whole story.
04Changing your mind
Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. The same banner opens, and whatever you choose takes effect immediately: turn analytics off and we delete its cookies there and then. Withdrawing is deliberately the same single click as agreeing was.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser:
- Chrome — Settings › Privacy and security › Third-party cookies
- Safari — Settings › Privacy › Manage Website Data
- Firefox — Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data
- Edge — Settings › Cookies and site permissions
Clearing them signs you out and empties your cart — that is where those live — and we will ask about analytics again, because your answer was stored in a cookie too.
05Third parties: our payment provider, and analytics if you allow it
When you pay, our payment provider sets its own cookies inside the checkout — needed to process the payment securely and to detect fraud, and governed by their policy. We never see your full card details.
The only other third party is Google Analytics, and only after you accept it. Nobody else sets anything on this site.
06If this ever changes
Should we ever add a cookie, this page changes first and the date at the top moves. If a change ever meant real tracking, we would ask you properly before anything runs — that is a promise, not a setting.
